The Brief: Spending On Ads. Getting Nothing Back.

Ms Ng’s Learning Academy has been shaping students since 2015 — from a home-based operation that went viral on social media, to a multi-centre tuition provider with over 500 student success stories and recognition from the Spirit of Enterprise Award. By the time MNLA came to Wanderus, they had the credibility, the track record, and a loyal community built almost entirely on word of mouth.

What they didn’t have was a digital presence that matched any of it.

Their website was a single landing page with a contact form nobody used. Their Google Business Profile pointed to the wrong address.

They had been running paid ads that were burning budget with near-zero conversion,

not because the campaigns were poorly structured, but because there was nothing credible to send traffic to. The problem wasn’t the ads. It was everything behind them.

Ms Ng works through a problem with her students at MNLA's Serangoon North centre.

Strategising >> A Website Without Activity Is Just A Brochure Nobody Reads.

When MNLA came to us asking for a website revamp, we ran a full audit before proposing anything.

What we found was that a new website alone wouldn’t move the needle. The gaps ran deeper. No brand identity, no content strategy, no SEO foundation, no reason for a parent landing on the site to trust MNLA over the next result on Google.

Our recommendation was a full Elev8 retainer, packaging web design, SEO, social media, and video production, with paid ads managed through our partner agency.

The logic was straightforward: how much can a website take you if there’s no activity on the sideline?

We came back with a full proposal and a mockup so MNLA could see exactly what we were building before they committed a single dollar.

One Brief. Every Channel. Built To Work Together.

Website

We rebuilt the MNLA site from scratch — structured around the subjects, levels, and centres they operate, with content designed to answer the questions parents actually ask before they pick up the phone. Clear service pages, tutor profiles, and a contact experience that wasn’t just a form sitting alone on a blank page. Built to rank and built to convert.

SEO

We built an SEO strategy around the search terms parents in Singapore are actually typing — tuition centre in Serangoon North, tuition centre in Clementi, primary school tuition Singapore. We set up and optimised Google Business Profiles for each location alongside on-page SEO, technical fixes, and a content plan that gave Google reasons to rank MNLA above bigger names with deeper pockets.

Social Media

We took over content planning and management, building a social presence around real teaching moments, student milestones, and Ms Ng’s own voice. Content that felt like MNLA because it was — not stock, not generic, not recycled from a content calendar template.

Video Production

Video was always going to be part of this. Ms Ng built her reputation on content that explained things visually — that instinct was right from the beginning. We produced video content that captured the teaching style, the environment, and the results MNLA’s students were achieving. Content that parents could watch and immediately understand what made MNLA different.

The Outcome. Six Months In, They Needed To Open Another Centre.

The full Elev8 engagement delivered a rebuilt website with dedicated pages for each subject, level, and centre location. A Google Business Profile for each centre, optimised and pointing to the right address. A monthly SEO and content programme that built domain authority and local search visibility over time. A managed social media presence running across Meta platforms. A video content library capturing Ms Ng’s teaching methodology and student results. And a paid ads setup through our partner agency, now running to a destination worth clicking through to.

The Results.

Students started switching from premium tuition centres to MNLA — not because MNLA was cheaper, but because parents could now find them, trust them, and see the results before making a call. Tutors reached capacity across every level. Ms Ng raised prices two years running. And six months after launch, they came back to Wanderus with a new idea — a student care centre. That became AfterBell.
